Papua New Guinea is a load full of diversity, uniqueness, and lots of potential. A land that, until recently, was largely isolated. With over 800 spoken languages and limited infrastructure it makes for an incredibly beautiful and equally challenging place to work. A majority of the countries coffee comes from small subsistence farms and in the Keto Tepasi Progress Association most farmers will de-pulp and ferment on their own farms. This is a great coffee that parallels its country of origin in many ways. It is comprised of various high quality varieties that come together to bring a bright, unique, and complex cup that sounds out as different. I am excited about this coffee and the potential it embodies for this young coffee region.
Please note: to ensure your coffee arrives as fresh as possible, all orders are shipped on Wednesdays. Since your coffee is freshly roasted, this prevents it from sitting needlessly in the post office or delivery vehicle over the weekend. So after your order is received, it will be filled and shipped out the following Wednesday. Please forgive the inconvenience but we believe it will be well worth it in the end.
