Producer :  Collection of 949 smallholder farmers, over  of which are women

Rwanda is one of the smallest countries in Africa and a new offering for us.  It is a country with a long and complicated history but out of that history is coming some of the most intriguing coffees of the season.  This coffee is 100% bourbon (varietal) lot carrying beautiful layers of complexity and sweetness that keeps us coming back.  It not only drinks well as a drip coffee but really comes alive as a single origin espresso.  We haven't traditionally released single origins as espresso for the simple reason that they often don't perform up to our standards in one way or another.  This coffee changed our mind.  This is truly one of the stand out coffees of the season and we can't get enough. 

Please note: to ensure your coffee arrives as fresh as possible coffees are roasted to order. Coffee is roasted Tuesday, packaged Wednesday, and shipped on Thursday. Orders will be filled as quickly as possible depending on availability but please note that order arriving after Monday may be filled the following week.
